John has been Certified by The Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney. Whether it is a personal injury case, bankruptcy case, litigation case or other type of matter, John wants his clients to participate in the decision making process toward solving their problem in the best way possible as a NJ attorney. John is first and foremost a father and a husband and from this perspective passionately represents people so that they are in a better position after walking out of his office then when they walked in. John was born in Paterson, New Jersey. He is married with four children and is an avid, sometimes not so proficient, triathlete.

    Mr. Wigfield is a partner in the Firm and heads the Firm’s real estate and transactional department. For more than 40 years, he has represented financial institutions, corporations, joint ventures, partnerships, limited liability companies, developers and individuals in a full range of real estate matters including real estate finance, acquisitions, sales and exchanges, real estate zoning and development, commercial leasing and loan workouts. In real estate finance matters, Mr. Wigfield represents lenders, developers and investors in a wide range of financing transactions including those involving multi‑family housing, commercial and industrial real estate, and residential real estate. In acquisitions, sales and exchanges, he has represented a wide variety of clients with respect to residential housing, multi‑family housing, industrial facilities, shopping centers, office and commercial buildings, condominiums and residential subdivision.

  • Christopher Heyer Esq.

    Christopher Heyer is a seasoned attorney with over three decades of experience, primarily focusing on complex commercial litigation, employment law, business law, and real estate matters. He earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law in Newark and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Union College. Admitted to practice in New Jersey (1990), New York (1991), the U.S. Supreme Court (2002), and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York (2014), Mr. Heyer has a distinguished legal career. He has contributed to legal scholarship with publications such as "Moore v. Regents University California: The Right of Property in Human Tissue and its Effect on Medical Research" in the Rutgers Computer & Technology Law Journal and "Recovery of Attorneys’ Fees" in the Bergen Barrister. Additionally, he served as an adjunct professor of law at Fairleigh Dickinson University from 1997 to 2001.   • David L. Stevens Esq.

    David L. Stevens is a dedicated attorney specializing in business reorganization, bankruptcy, insolvency, and commercial litigation. He earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law in Newark and a Bachelor of Science from Franklin Pierce University in 1997. Admitted to practice in New Jersey (2007), New York (2008), and several federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court, Mr. Stevens brings a wealth of legal expertise to his clients. His professional affiliations include memberships in the American Bar Association, Bergen County Bar Association, and the New York State Bar Association. Beyond his legal practice, he has served as a trustee for the Passaic County Bar Association and has been approved by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to serve on the District Fee Arbitration Committee. A U.S. Army veteran (1990-1994), Mr. Stevens was honored with the Army Commendation Medal for his service.
